this is what grace is for.

Whenever I am stuck wrestling with questions that just leaves me more exhausted than anything, I remind myself that this is what grace is for.

Sometimes this stuff is easy to understand, but other times, we need to wrestle with truth to really find it, to have our convictions confronted to prove them and define them, and to come face to face with the humbling reality that we just don’t know it all.

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart,

and do not lean on your own understanding.

In all your ways acknowledge him,

and he will make straight your paths.

Be not wise in your own eyes;

fear the Lord, and turn away from evil.

It will be healing to your flesh

and refreshment to your bones.” (Proverbs 3:5-8 ESV)
